David L. Jones, 68, of Kane, PA., died Monday morning, October 9, 2017 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, PA.

Dave, formally of Warren, PA., was born on August 21, 1949 in Pittsburgh, PA. He was the son of the late James A. Jones and Thelda L. (Osterman) Jones. An Army veteran, Dave served two tours of duty in Plieku, Vietnam. He was a long time seasonal maintenance worker for the Army Corp of Engineers at the Kinzua Dam, after which, Dave went to work at Betts Industries for eight years. He was an avid collector of model trains, old movies, and old music. Dave’s Edison phonographs and tube style records were recently acquired by the Library of Congress. He leaves behind a son, Zachary, 32, of Sheridan, WY. There will be a small memorial service to be held later. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Donald E.
