David J. Seceniquia, 61, of Warren, PA. died peacefully in his sleep, Wednesday morning, June 26, 2013. He was born August 14, 1951 in Bradford, PA. to the late Frank and Margaret Purcell Seceniquia. David was a 1969 graduate of Warren Area High School and attended Allegheny College and graduated from Jamestown Community College with a associate degree in nursing. He was employed with Warren State Hospital as a registered nurse, and was previously a psychiatric aide and worked in the maintenance and ground keeping departments. He was a lifelong Warren area resident. David enjoyed music, especially guitar and piano music, fishing, gardening, computer work, Indian head and driftwood collector, scavenging for metal with his metal detector. He was a real animal lover, especially loved his three cats – Weiber, Spirit and Dreamer. He is survived by his longtime companion of over 27 years, Joyce Fehrer Lester of Warren, PA., her two children – Daniel Lester of Pittsfield, PA., Scott Lester of Muncy, PA., 2 Step Grandchildren – Paige Lester, Jasmin Jensen, 1 Sister – Mary Egidio and husband, Steve of Lakeland, FL, 1 Niece – Elizabeth Pendergrass of Lakeland, FL, 1 Nephew – Benjamin Egidio of Clermont, FL., Great Nephew – Logan Pendergrass and several cousins. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Marie Lynn Seceniquia, his favorite friend, Sammy, his short haired german pointer. Friends may call at the Donald E. A funeral service will be conducted Monday at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Marcus Briggs, Chaplain of the Warren General Hospital, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
