Clair M. Whippo, 94, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 15, 2013 at Corry Manor, Corry, PA. He was born September 2, 1918 in Bridgewater, PA. to the late Miller and Sevilla Hudson Whippo. Clair was a very special man with deep faith in God. He was a loving, caring and giving man who was loved by all who were lucky enough to know him. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren with all his heart. He had a sense of humor and liked to kid with everyone. In his earlier years he upholstered furniture. He liked word find books, putting puzzles together and eating chocolate. He was a member of the Corry Church of the Nazarene.

Clair drove truck for Albro Packing for 34 years and after moving to Corry, worked in maintenance at Corry Hospital and then the Corry School District until he retired.

He is survived by his son, David Whippo and wife, Karen, daughters, Carol Humphrey, Marge White and husband, Homer, Paula Trisket and husband, John, Candi Frontera and husband, John, Alana Hollenbeck and companion, Jim Holcomb, Robin Williams and husband, Mike, Teena Chiricuzio companion, John Doran, several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his 1st wife, Lucille in 1971, his 2nd wife, Bernice in June of 2012, 2 grandsons – Todd Harvey, Wesley Glasby and son-in-law, Tom Humphrey, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
