Caroline “Konky” Tridico, 87, of Warren, Pa. died Saturday morning, January 10, 2015 at the John and Orpha Blair Hospice Home after a courageous battle with liver cancer. She was born September 2, 1927 in Warren, PA. She was the daughter of James Rudolph and Angeline M. Scalise Tridico. She was a lifelong Warren area resident and a 1946 graduate of Warren High School.

Konky was employed with the former New Process Company from 1946 to 1957, the Warren Sheriff’s Dept. from 1960 to 1970 and Pennsylvania State Police from 1971 to 1993, retiring from there.

She was a member of St. Joseph R.C. Church, Women of the Warren Moose Lodge 109. She loved golfing, bowling, dancing, being with family and friends and partying.

Konky is survived by her nieces and nephews, Jaimee Franklin of Youngsville, PA., Tracy Passaro and Anthony Tridico both of Warren, PA., Marta Urban of Greensburg, PA., Tina Pearson of Indiana, PA., Terry Hillard of Wyomissing, PA., Mark Hillard of Virginia, Ron Hillard of Warren, PA., several great nieces and great nephews and cousins survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 Brothers – James Anthony and Thomas Tridico, 1 Sister – Catherine Tridico Hillard.

Friends may call at the Donald E. Lewis Funeral Home, Inc., 304 East Street, Warren, PA. Tuesday, January 13, 2015 from 4 to 7 P.M. where a vigil service will be conducted at 6:45 P.M.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Wednesday, January 14, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph R.C. Church, 600 Pennsylvania Avenue West, Warren, PA. , Fr. Richard J. Toohey, Pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Joseph R.C. Cemetery.
