Audrey Fox, 92, of Russell, PA. died Monday morning, August 27, 2012 at Warren General Hospital after a brief illness. She was born August 17, 1920 in Russell, PA. to the late Wallace J. and Freda Mattson Barstow. She was a lifelong resident of Russell and a 1938 graduate of Russell High School. Audrey was employed for 20 years as a clerk with the former New Process Company retiring from there in 1985. She was a member of Russell United Methodist Church, where she was a choir member and a member of the Thursday Women’s Circle. She was a former member of the former Rebekah Lodge and a member of the Russell Fire Dept. Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, watching football and Nascar Races.

She is survived by her granddaughter – Shelly Sapp and husband, Scott, 2 Great Grandchildren – Morgan and Kyle Sapp all of Bronson, FL., 1 Sister – Bernice Cockshott of Jamestown, N.Y. , Sister-in-law, Dorothy Barstow of Upstate, N.Y., several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son – Marshall Fox, 1 Sister – Alma Laughlin, 1 Brother – Harley Barstow. A private funeral and committal service will be conducted graveside at Pine Grove Cemetery at the convenience of the family with Rev. Marcus Briggs, Chaplain of Warren General Hospital, officiating.
