Angeline “Angie” Landrio, 99, of Warren, PA, and formerly of West Palm Beach, FL and Flushing, NY, passed away on Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at the Rouse Home in Youngsville, PA, after a brief illness. She was born July 12, 1919 in Utica, NY, and was the daughter of Antonio and Catini Brunetto Convertino. When she was 9 years old, her mother passed away and she then helped to raise her brother and sister and the family moved to Johnstown, NY to be supported by relatives. Angie had resided for 26 years in Flushing, NY and moved from there to West Palm Beach, FL. She had been a maker of ladies fine gloves and worked in the Warranty Returns Department for Bulova Watch Company. Angie was of the Catholic faith and a member of the Sons of Italy. She enjoyed dancing and always prepared a good Italian meal, centered around the kitchen table.
She is survived by her son, Gary Landrio and wife, Addy of Warren, PA; 2 grandsons – Paul Landrio and his wife, Hiromi, of Washington, PA, and Peter Landrio of Pittsburgh; 1 Sister – Mary Ciccone and 1 Brother – Sam Convertino, both of Utica, NY; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Angie was preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Landrio, whom she married December 4, 1948 in Johnstown, NY and who died on October 16, 2003; and 1 Brother – Angelo Convertino.
A service for Angie will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. Friday, June 28, 2019, at Calvary Cemetery at the Calvary Mausoleum in Utica, NY, with Fr. John Buehler, Pastor of St. John’s Catholic Church, officiating. Those wishing to place memorials may do so through a charity or program that brings happiness to others.
